A total of 4,722 pupils from 14 elementary schools in the west coast were recipients of school supplies and paraphernalia under San Ramon Power, Incorporated’s “Munting Tulong Gamit sa Eskwela 2013” community development program.

The school items were distributed by personnel of SRPI led by Plant Manager Archie Donato, Engineer Ruben Conti and Administrative Officer Anne Que.

Also, five day care center pupils received a similar package.

Donato said this is a yearly undertaking of SRPI and its sister power company, Western Mindanao Power Corporation, situated in barangay Sangali, east of the city proper.

Meanwhile, the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) conducted a hearing in Manila last Tuesday on the Power Supply Agreement (PSA) signed between SRPI and the Zamboanga City Electric Cooperative last year.

The ERC will most likely decide on the proposed rates within five months. — BJ
