A security guard was arrested after he fired his service gun indiscriminately in Barangay Sangali last Sunday night.

Nabbed was Julius Cielo y Gaviola, 34, married, a security guard of Goldwin Security Agency and detailed at the Mang Tinapay Bakery.

Cielo was arrested by SPO1 Norman Alviar and PO3 Luis Catamco. He was taken to the Sangali Police Station where he was detained.

A police report disclosed that the two policemen went to the bakery after they heard a gunfire around 11 p.m.

The two policemen held Cielo after learning that he was the one who fired a gun.

Confiscated from his possession was a .38 cal. revolver with three bullets and one spent shell in the cylinder.

Cielo told the police that it was only a test fire to determine whether the gun was still serviceable.

The Sangali police station has readied charges against Cielo. – Dan Toribio Jr.
