LTO-9 on 3rd year as ISO certified PDF Print E-mail

The Land Transportation Office-9 is now on its third year as International Organization for Standardization (ISO) ceritified.
LTO-9 was accredited by ISO in 2008.

LTO Zamboanga City District Office Head Noel M. Noche disclosed that it was through the hardwork and dedication of Director Aminola P. Abaton that LTO-9 has become an ISO certified.    Among the offices of LTO-9 also ISO certified are Zamboanga City District Licensing Office, Ipil branch in Zamboanga Sibugay, Pagadian City, Municipality of Molave in  Zamboanga del Sur and the Drivers Licensing Renewal Center at Yubenco Mall in Zamboanga City.

Noche said the LTO central office will conduct an internal audit on LTO-9 for it be renewed as ISO certified anytime this year. Thereafter, another third party will also conduct an external audit by the  Certification International Philippines Inc. to reaffirm the certification of the LTO central office audit for the renewal.

He said that LTO-9 will always maintain yearly a quality efficient service and time management to each client as provided for by ISO for the renewal certification every year.

Noche together with transportation officer Edmund Bilang  reported to Atty, Abaton that they attended a two-day seminar on upgrade system of ISO on quality efficient service, growth analysis and yearly annual audit  in at the LTO central office in Quezon last week. — Allen Abastillas
