Police have forwarded a case of frustrated murder against a man who shot a seaweed farmer,but missed his target  in Licomo the other day.
The suspect was identified as Edwin Falcasantos. He was detained at the Vitali Police Station after he availed of the 15-day waiver after an inquest proceeding.
Falcasantos was arrested by men of the Vitali Police Station during a hot pursuit operation after he shot Samuel Francisco with his 12-gauge shotgun Thursday afternoon.
Police said that Francisco was not hit by the pellets after Falcasantos shot him twice while he was checking his seaweed farm around 5 p.m.
The incident was reported to the Vitali Police Station and acting on the reprt, policemen mounted a hot pursuit operation that led to the arrest of Falcasantos. Recovered from his possession was a 12-gauge shotgun. – Dan Toribio Jr.
