Two brother fishermen lost their boat’s engine to two pirates off Bolong last Sunday morning.
The victims were identified as Eduardo Lamotos y Tolos, 48, and his brother Edmund Lamotos y Tolos, 39, both residents of Tabuk, Buug, Zamboanga Sibugay.

A police report disclosed that the two brothers were fishing near Pilas Island in Bolong around 10 a.m. when two men armed with high powered firearms aboard another pumpboat appeared and at gunpoint ordered them to jump into the water

The victims told the police that when they were floating in the water, the pirates took their boat’s engine then sped away.

The victims rushed to the Sangali Police Station and reported the incident.
