2 killed, 1 hurt in gun attacks PDF Print E-mail

Two men were killed while a woman was injured in three separate gun attacks last Wednesday.

Marvin Mariano y Toribio, 33, single, of Zone 7, Asinan, Boalan, was discovered dead with a bullet wound in the chest. His body was discovered around 5:30 a.m. at the interior of Zone 7, Asinan, Boalan.

It was learned that last Tuesday night, Mariano and some companions figured in a heated argument. One in the group who was armed with a gun shot Mariano and his body was left where he fell.

In another incident, Arnel Flores y Domingo, 45, of Sitio Miluao, Patalon, was shot to death by two men riding on a motorcycle around 7 p.m. last Wednesday.

Police said that Flores was walking on his way home when a motorcycle appeared and the backrider shot him.

Meanwhile, Jossie Bueno Hajiri, married, of Old Guiwan Highway was discovered wounded in the left shoulder inside their house around 5:20 p.m.

Police recovered a .45 caliber pistol and an empty shell inside the victim’s room.

Police suspected that it was a “self caused -initiated” wound.

Investigators said the gun belongs to the victim’s husband. – Dan Toribio Jr.
