Her life story is like fairy tale. But if we tell all the details, it will be a very long story. We might as well tell how Jinkee Jamora Pacquiao started it and see where she is now.

Jinkee started as a model of  Fit Mart, a department store in General Santos City, and became the second most powerful woman in Sarangani province being its present vice governor. She is wife to Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao , who is a world famous boxing icon with eight World Title Records, a congressman of Sarangani and a reputed billionaire.

Vice Governor JInkee told this reporter that she will focus her program on economic livelihood and upliftment of the lives of the  less fortunate and under privilege people in the province. Under her leadership, she said,  she will provide funds and assistance for agriculture, aquaculture, women sector, out-of-school youth and adults and fisherfolks for them to have livelihood for their basic needs and for their children’s education.

Vice Governor JInkee confides that she will come up with special projects to create livelihood opportunities for the indigenous people in Sarangani.

On the question of presiding and handling of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, Pacquiao admits that she is a neophyte who is doing her homework and studying  hard on the parliamentary procedures and rules.

She reasoned out that every task and responsibilities start from number one or there is always a beginning to everything. As of now, she said, she is beginning to learn and soon will master the task of a presiding officer.

“ Kayang kaya ko po ito para sa taong bayan,” Pacquiao said. — Allen Abastillas
