A 39-year-old man was shot and wounded in Tictapul last Saturday morning.

Gajer Ajijun y Istad, married, sustained a bullet wound in the left leg.

Police said that Ajijun was shot by a certain Natoy who escaped after the incident.

Investigation showed that Ajijun was unloading sacks of gravel from his motorcycle beside their house around 9 a.m. when he engaged in an argument with Natoy who passed by aboard a motorcycle.

During the argument, Natoy who was armed with a .45 caliber pistol alighted from his motorcycle and shot Ajijun in the leg.

Natoy sped away after shooting Ajijun. The latter was rushed to the Zamboanga City Medical Center for treatment.

Recovered at the crime scene were a slug of .45 caliber pistol and a Samsung cell phone owned by the suspect.
