A tricycle driver and a passerby were wounded in a shooting incident along Salvador Street, Sta. Maria last Wednesday night.

Wounded were Victor Rosal, 43, married, a tricycle driver and Goevin Clemente, 27, of Pasonanca.

Initial investigation showed that Rosal was driving a tricycle passing along Salvador Street around 11 p.m. when a gunman shot him several times. Clemente who was also in the area was hit by a stray bullet.

Rosal was hit in the right arm while Clemente sustained a bullet wound in the right ankle. They were taken to the hospital for treatment.

The gunmen sped towards Pasonanca after the incident.

Recovered at the crime scene were five spent shells and a deformed slug of .45 caliber pistol. — Dan Toribio Jr.
