A female company employee was brutally killed inside her residence by robbers who took her two cellular phones at Mormons Drive in Tetuan last Tuesday night.

Police identified the fatality as Evelyn Asuncion y Gonzales, 55, widow, an employee of LM Enterprises. She sustained multiple stab wounds in the different parts of the body and died on the spot.

A police report disclosed that Asuncion was seen by her relatives who were residing in the same compound, sitting in front of her desktop computer and surfing the internet.

Around 12:20 a.m., one of her brothers identified as Wilson Asuncion, residing beside Evelyn’s house, went outside to close the main gate of the compound. He noticed the computer of her sister was not shutdown.

Wilson entered Evelyn’s house to turn off the computer, but he was terrified when he saw Asuncion dead and bathed on her own blood inside her bedroom.

During ocular investigation, police found out that two cellular phones of the victim were missing.
Relatives told the police that they did not hear any commotion inside their sister’s house.
