The Divisoria police station under City Police Director Sr. Supt. Edwin Deocampo have filed murder case against three men who stabbed and killed a student in Putik last month.

A police report identified the suspects as Rex Gandawan, his brother Michael and Joven Gamoc. They were committed to the Zamboanga City Reformatory Center the other day.

The three men were arrested at a police checkpoint in Sta. Maria few minutes after they stabbed and killed Al-Sharif Agga in Putik around 1 a.m. last February 12.

The murder case was forwarded to the City Prosecutor’s Office against the suspects who availed of the 15-day waiver and were detained again at the Divisoria Police Station.

After the waiver lapsed, the suspects were brought back to the Prosecutor Office for inquest.
The case was raffled off to the Regional Trial Court Branch 15 under Judge Peter Eisma.
The court issued a warrant of arrest with no bail bond recommended. — Dan Toribio Jr.
