Mayor Beng Climaco and relatives of the late Mayor Climaco will spearhead the activities.

From Gov. Alvarez, the motorcade will proceed to the Climaco Freedom Park in Abong-abong for the commemorative program that will start at 10am.

At 4pm today, the book “Childhood Memories of Zamboanga” authored by Dr. Helen Mendoza will be launched at the City Hall lobby.

The  observance of Dia de Cesar, which is based on a city ordinance, started November 8 with a photo competition among secondary and tertiary students dubbed “Zoom-In: Who is Cesar C. Climaco Today”. The contest will run until today, Nov. 14  and the winners will be awarded tomorrow, November 15 at 9am at the Dominguez Hall at the Ateneo de Zamboanga University.

The awarding ceremony will coincide with the 4th Cesar C. Climaco Young Leaders Assembly.
