Two motorcycles were seized by operatives of the Highway Patrol Group-9  for violations of the anti-carnapping law.

Case investigator PO3 Apolinario  Velvestre Jr., in a report to HPG Regional Chief Sr. Supt. Romeo R. Uy identified the two motorcycles as a red HD3 Kawasaki with plate number  9621 MK and a Honda Wave 110  with plate number JN 6686.

The Kawasaki hasfake double registration from the  municipality of  Kalamansig, Sultan Kudarat. When investigated it was found out that its real owner is from Ipil Zamboanga Sibugay and registered in Ipil.
HPG-9 operatives led by SPO3 Rodolfo Q. Salburo seized the Honda Wave because the driver  can not present a registration, was not wearing a crash helmet, possesses no license and was trying to evade seizure when he was apprehended.

Sr. Supt. Uy, who was attending a command conference in Camp Crame presided by National Director Chief Supt. Leonardo Espina, directed Deputy Regional Chief Supt. James Ramos to seize the two motorcycles and issue a temporary impounding  receipt for further investigation. --Allen Abastillas
