Five more persons were arrested in two separate shabu bust operations in Vitali and Ayala recently.

Jeffrey Francisco, Richard Francisco, Eliboy Lanipa, Bryan Cris Marquez, all residents of Calle Posporo, Vitali were nabbed during a buy-bust operation carried out by men of the Vitali Police Station led by Sr. Insp. Joel Tuttuh around 9 p.m. last Tuesday.

A police report disclosed that the four men were caught engaging in shabu session at a secluded place.

Confiscated from their possession were three sachets of shabu, four LCC lighters, four aluminum foil strips, two boxes of matches, two empty sachets and P300.

The four were detained at the Vitali Police Station while the seized items were forwarded to the 9th PNP Crime Laboratory for examination.

Elpidio Patcho, 23, laborer of YL Corporation and a resident of Tulungatung was nabbed by Charlie Sahibul, a company guard,  while he was entering the gate to the company.

Upon inspection, Sahibul saw a small sachet of shabu fell on the ground from the possession of Patcho.

Patcho was held and was taken to the Ayala Police Station. The confiscated sachet of shabu was turned over to the police. – Dan Toribio Jr.
