Zamcelco bares power interruption in some areas today PDF Print E-mail

As the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) is expected to impose power curtailment in the city, the Zamboanga City Electric Cooperative, Inc. (Zamcelco ) is informing the member-consumers of a power interruption today Saturday in the areas of Presa feeder.

The Presa Feeder which will experience a 30-minute power interruption from 8:30 to 9 a.m. which include parts of Barangay Guiwan, part of Barangay Tetuan, part of Barangay Sta. Maria (Bagsakan and portion of Veterans Avenue); part of Camino Nuevo (Sta. Cruz Market, portion of Gov. Camins road, portion of Nuñez extension); and portion of Canelar Presa.

Zamcelco newly-designated General Manager Engr. George G. Ledesma said this is to “facilitate the installation of one-unit Private Distribution Transformer of Mr. Cesar Lim located at Tetuan Hi-way.”

“Please take the necessary precaution as power will resume immediately after the completion of work not necessarily following the above given time,” Engr. Ledesma said.

An official of the Zamcelco said “NGCP is not imposing power curtailment yet as of today, so, there’s no reason for people to panic as this will entail minimal power interruption for today (Saturday),” he said. — MLF
