2 stolen motorbikes recovered in Sulu PDF Print E-mail

Men of the Highway Patrol Group in Sulu and troopers of the Sulu Police Provincial Office recovered recently two stolen motorcycles while conducting an anti-carnapping operation.

In a report to Supt. Severino B. Agustin HPG-9 chief, HPG Sulu Team Leader SPO3 Vincent A. Parame said that while he and his men were conducting operation with Sulu Police Provincial Office troopers at Kilometer 4 in the municipality of Indanan, they flagged down two motorcycles and the drivers were asked about its documents.    Parame and his men checked the two units with the Vehicle Information Management System in the HPG and Land transportation Office website and found out that one of the two motorcycles, a red-white Honda with plate number 1154XQ is under a hold order status under alarm number 2013-0802-004 . It was stolen while parked  along Juan Luna Street, Tondo, Manila. The other unit, a  white Suzuki  Raider with plate number 9395 XQ model 2011 was also under hold order status. It was stolen in Quezon City on January 17 , 2013.

Another motorcycle with spurious documents  was recovered by Sulu policemen led by Sr. Insp. Norlito A. Mata at a checkpoint along the vicinity of Kilometer 3, Barangay Kajatian, Indanan, Sulu. The motorcycle was described as red Honda XRM with plate number WP6622.

The three motorcycles were impounded at the Sulu Police Provincial Office.

Supt. Agustin lauded Parame and  PO1 Kimhar Mujahirin for having a good working relation with the Sulu Police Provincial Office that led to the recovery of the three motorcycles. — Allen Abastillas
