Thief enters house, stabs owner’s teenage daughter PDF Print E-mail

A thief broke into a house in Sitio Mulu-Muluan, Mercedes where he robbed and stabbed the daughter of the owner at dawn last Monday.

Police said the incident took place at the house of Hajarul Jujani y Sampang, 41, married, of Zone 6, Mulu-Muluan.

Initial investigation disclosed that the burglar entered the house around 3 a.m.  The 16-year-old daughter of Jujani woke up but she was attacked by the thief with a knife.

The teenager tried to grab the knife from the intruder’s hands  and screamed for help which prompted the latter to escape with some valuables.

The girl sustained a stab wound in the left palm and was taken to the Mindanao Central Sanitarium in Pasobolong for treatment.

The burglar got away with a laptop computer worth P20,000, a cell phone worth P5,000, P300 in cash and assorted clothings.

Police said the intruder entered the house through the porch and proceeded further in via the window glass which he also used as his exit escape point.

Police investigators lifted some finger prints as well as blood samples to held in the investigation. — Dan Toribio Jr.
