A 15-year-old resident of Isabela City who was allegedly abducted by gunmen in Basilan was recovered in Cawit last Monday night.

The victim was identified as Alfayed Paradji y Doh.

Police said that Paradji was in downtown Isabela City around 1:30 p.m. last Sundaywhen an old woman approached and asked him to accompany her to Lanote in search of her son.

Paradji obliged and they traveled until they reached a rubber plantation in Lanote.

Paradji was surprised to see a group of persons armed with handguns.

One of the gunmen suddenly punched Paradji in the stomach which made him unconscious.

Several minutes later, Paradji woke up and saw three other youngsters being guarded by eight men and they were already in Zamboanga City.

Paradji and the three youngsters were tied with a rope as they started walking until they reached Cawit.

The four young captives spent their night in a place where it was unknown to Paradji but it was already in Zamboanga City.

On Monday, their captors abandoned them when they saw soldiers patrolling the area.
