New Sacol police chief intensifies seaborne patrol PDF Print E-mail

Operatives of the Sacol Police Station led by its new commander Chief Insp. Nonito Asdai under City Police Director Sr. Supt. Edwin Deocampo have intensified seaborne patrol in around the island to prevent lawless groups and pirates from carrying out their nefarious activities.

Since he assumed the position of chief of Police Station 11 in Sacol last week , Asdai concentrated on patrolling around Sacol with the objective of stopping pirates, bandits and other lawless people to strike and victimize innocent persons including fishermen.

Asdai said that being the stationn chief, he will ensure that his areas of responsiblity will be a lawless-free place where people are safe to work and live by.

Policemen are also providing security to teachers especially those who are residents of the city who are regularly reporting in Sacol during school days.

“Our seaborne patrols are conducted any time of the day and night. Our major purpose is to secure the community and monitor the activities of the bad elements passing by our areas of jurisdiction,”Asdai said.

He added that their station is open 24 hours day to assist the residents.

The station chief said they are also appealing to the public to furnish them information on any untoward incidents or any suspicious persons in their vicinity.

Asdai is a former traffic policeman assigned at the City Police Office and was promoted through PNP’s lateral entry.

He was assigned in different provinces and municipalities in the region until he returned to the city with the rank of police major (chief inspector).
