1 dies, 2 injured in bike collision PDF Print E-mail

A resident of San Jose died while two others were injured in a motorcycle collision in Barangay Pasonanca last Wednesday night.

The fatality was identified as Denvasher Salim y Rasid, of Johnston St., San Jose. Injured were Ryan Warren Gomez of Pasonanca and Erwin Jay Susana of Tugbungan.

Initial investigation disclosed that Gomez was driving a Honda XRM motorcycle with Susana as backrider. They were negotiating the Pasonanca road heading north.  Near a restaurant, they encroached the opposite lane where Salim was running on opposite direction.

The two motorcycles collided head-on and all three were thrown off due to the strong impact.

Salim died due of serious fractures in the head while Gomez and Susana were taken to the hospital for treatment.

Both motorcycles incurred damages and were impounded at the Sta. Maria Police Station.
