Costing P3.26 million, the newly rehabilitated and improved wellness center features a labor and delivery room, spaces for consultation, family planning and breastfeeding, a TB-DOTS room, as well as staff room for its health workers who will be on call to man the center 24/7.

Present during the turnover ceremonies were Representatives Celso L. Lobregat and Lilia Nuño, Vice Mayor Cesar Iturralde, Councilors BG Guingona, Myra Paz  Abubakar, VP Elago, Jawo Jimenez and Eddie Saavedra, City Health Officer Dr. Rodelin Agbulos, and City Engineer Luis Despalo.
