A boat crew was shot and wounded by a security guard aboard a vessel docked at the Talisayan shore the other night.

The victim was identified as Jony Romano y Ricaplaso, 39, single, of Pitogo, Sinunuc. He was shot by Johny Bobora y Aranduque, 23, a native of RT Lim, Zamboanga Sibugay and temporarily residing at Zone 7, Ayala.

Police said Romano sustained slight bullet wound in the right hand and was taken to the hospital.

A police report disclosed that Romano was untying a rope aboard F/B Marilou of the YL Fishing around 9 p.m. when Bobora appeared and shot him twice using a .38 cal. revolver.

Despite the bullet wound in the hand, Romano was able to run towards Ayala Police Station and sought assistance thereat.

Bobora was arrested during a follow-up operation and was detained at the Ayala Police Station. Confiscated from his possession was the gun used in shooting Romano.
