2 men lose P20,000 in holdup PDF Print E-mail

Holduppers robbed two victims of their P20,000 during a hold-up at Ferrer Drive, Divisoria last Saturday afternoon.

The victims were identified as Delfin Lao y Soon, 52, married, of Ferrer Drive and Glenn Balasabas y Oseman, 20, single, of Boalan.

Initial investigation disclosed that Lao and Balasabas were aboard an owner-type jeep on their way home when two men riding tandem on a Honda XRM motorcycle tailed and blocked their path afterwhich announced a holdup at gunpoint.

Police said the holduppers took the P20,000 from the victims then sped away.

The incident was reported to the Divisoria Police Station. A hot pursuit operation followed but the holduppers were nowhere to be found.
