City government workers yesterday voluntarily shed blood for the Red Cross blood bank as a gift to Mayor Celso Lobregat who is celebrating his birthday tomorrow, March 20.

More than 200 city employees including members of fraternity groups, students, teachers, fraternity groups and walk-in volunteers thronged to the City Hall lobby for the pre-blood donation process.
