DPWH bids out 10 projects PDF Print E-mail

The Department of Public Works and Highways District Office has bidded out the first 10 projects initiated by Dist. 1 Congresswoman Beng Climaco for implementation this month.

District Engineer Merham Acas identified the projects as asphalt ovelay along Gov. Lim Avenue, wharf road and road going to the west coast. The projects total cost is P36 million. It will be implemented station by station.

Other projects that will be bidded next are worth P 165 million and P98 million of these are initiated by District 2 Congressman Erbie A. Fabian under his Priority Development Funds at the House of Representatives. The projects include road reblocking, asphalt overlay, farm to market roads, barangay roads, flashflood control and river dikes.

Engr. Acas said that once the projects will start, his office will coordinate with the city government for the issuance of an executive order and traffic police for the rerouting of traffic.

Acas’ office will put up signages in the different project sites for proper guidance. — Allen Abastillas
