HPG-9 operatives recover 3 motorbikes in February PDF Print E-mail

The Highway Patrol Group-9 has recovered three stolen motorcycles during the three weeks of February.

Sr. Supt. Severino B.  Agustin, HPG-9 chief, disclosed that a thief stole a Honda XRM at the house of Philippine Air Force Col. Ancaris in his residence in the east coast on February 4.

It was recovered when another person applied for a motorvehicle clearance for travel to Jolo, Sulu. The HPG duty operatives discovered that the Honda XRM was using a  plate number bearing 2021 MQ which was issued to another unit.  The motorcycle was impounded because the applicant of the MV clearance can not present an ownership document for the motorcycle.

Another stolen motorcycle was recovered when HPG 9 operatives led by Insp. Mervin Claret with SPO1 Wilfredo P. Ator and PO2 Benzar Bello conducted a routinary check-up at the Zamboanga City Port. They spotted an abandoned motorcycle around 7:30 p.m. In a  standard operating procedure, the  operatives checked it with the Vehicle Information Management System. It was found out that the motorcycle is under in the list of stolen vehicles under alarm number 2012-1127. It was stolen on September 20, 2012 in Valenzuela, Bulacan. it is owned by a certain VST Nobleza of Tondo, Manila.

The third recovery was a stolen motorcycle on February 10,2014, when a certain Usong applied for a motorvehicle clearance bound for Jolo, Sulu. HPG operatives found out in the VIMS that the gray Suzuki Raider 150 with plate number UT- 7901 is in the list of stolen motorvehicles under alarm number 2011-1129-09. It was stolen while parked in Taytay, Rizal on September 10, 2011. The owner is from Pasig City.
